Biography
Serving as Governor of Maine from 2011 to 2019, Paul LePage has spent his life rising above adversity. Born into a troubled home of 18 children, Paul LePage left home at 11 years old to escape his abusive circumstances. The only one in his family to complete eighth grade, Paul would go on to complete high school, then college, and eventually, he obtained a graduate degree, and would go on to become one of the most successful businessmen in the state of Maine, creating jobs and growing Maine’s economy. LePage first entered politics when he was elected to the city council, where despite running as a Republican in one of the most Democrat cities in Maine, he was elected, and then reelected mayor, proving his ability to win tough races. After being elected Governor of Maine, LePage spent his two terms growing the economy, creating jobs, and looking out for Maine’s senior citizens and taxpayers. Now, Paul LePage is running for Congress to bring his style of effective leadership to Washington, and to ensure the needs of Mainers, and all Americans, are put first, to deliver results on important issues for Mainers.

Supporting Innovation, Growing the Economy
Paul LePage knows America must lead in global innovation, and that requires freedom. Cutting red tape and burdensome regulations, and embracing pro-growth politics will power the country’s economy and tech sector, and ensure the United States never falls behind, by keeping innovation at home, in the hands of the American People.

Paul LePage has a proven track record of delivering results for America’s veterans. In Congress, Paul will fight to protect the healthcare and benefits earned by the men and women who served this country, much as he has done in Maine.
Lowering Costs and Inflation
Paul LePage is no stranger to financial hardship, and understands how high costs are hitting the budgets of families hard. In Congress, Paul will continue to work to bring down the wasteful spending and restrictive taxes that have cut into the budgets of Americans.
Securing Our Border
