Biography

Kat Cammack is the Trump-endorsed conservative fighting for North Central Florida, seeking a fourth term representing the 12 counties of Florida’s 3rd Congressional District. Born in Denver and raised on a 55-acre cattle ranch her family later lost, Cammack knows firsthand what Washington’s policies do to working families and rural communities. She holds a master’s in national defense and strategic studies from the U.S. Naval War College. She ran Congressman Ted Yoho’s 2012 campaign and served as his deputy chief of staff for nearly a decade before winning his seat in 2020. Today she serves on the House Agriculture and Energy & Commerce committees, chairs the Emerging Tech Task Force, and co-founded and chairs the Republican Women’s Caucus. She lives in Gainesville with her husband Matt, a Gainesville Fire Rescue firefighter and paramedic, and their young daughter. President Trump gave her his endorsement, saying: “SHE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!”

Policy Positions

  1. Standing Up for Florida Agriculture

A rancher’s daughter, Cammack is a fierce voice for Florida’s farmers and ranchers on the House Agriculture Committee. She fought for Florida growers in the 2026 Farm Bill, securing long-term funding to combat citrus greening and more support for the specialty crops that power the state’s farm economy. Her guiding principle is simple: “My job isn’t to represent Washington to Florida — it’s to represent Florida to Washington.”

  2. Cutting Washington Down to Size

A self-described “ardent budget hawk,” Cammack wrote the REINS Act to force Congress to vote on major federal regulations instead of letting unelected bureaucrats make the rules. She voted for the 2025 tax cuts in H.R. 1 to let hardworking Floridians keep more of what they earn. She is fighting to rein in runaway spending and stop Washington’s overreach.

  3. Defending Life & Securing the Border

Cammack co-chairs the Congressional Pro-Life Caucus and is an unwavering defender of the unborn. Believing that “every town in America is a border town,” she voted for the Laken Riley Act and stands with President Trump’s agenda to enforce our immigration laws and get dangerous criminal illegal aliens off our streets.
