Biography
Chris Stigall is the Republican nominee for Missouri's 6th Congressional District in the 2026 election. Born in Richmond, Missouri, and raised in Clay County, he earned a broadcasting degree from Northwest Missouri State University and began his career as a field representative and deputy communications director for Congressman Sam Graves. He went on to build a two-decade career in conservative talk radio, hosting shows in Kansas City and Philadelphia before taking over the nationally syndicated morning slot on the Salem Radio Network in 2025. He stepped away from that national platform to run for Congress, seeking to succeed Graves and represent the district's 33 rural counties. He centers his campaign on agricultural representation, school choice, and being a strong conservative voice in Washington.
Policy Positions
Agricultural Representation
Stigall is pushing to secure north Missouri a seat back on the House Agriculture Committee, arguing farming isn't just an industry in the district but "a way of life" that needs a direct voice in Congress.
Backing President Trump's Agenda
Stigall describes himself as "extraordinarily supportive" of the president's agenda and says Trump "needs backup in Congress," positioning himself as a reliable vote for the administration's priorities.
School Choice
He supports expanding school choice options, including work with organizations like the Herzog Foundation to help families access quality education outside failing public schools.
