Biography
Ashley Moody has served as a U.S. Senator from Florida since 2025, following a distinguished career as Florida's Attorney General from 2019 to 2025, where she built a reputation as a strong conservative advocate for law enforcement, victims' rights, and consumer protection. A former circuit court judge and federal prosecutor, she brought a rigorous legal background to her work combating human trafficking, opioid abuse, and price gouging, while also taking action against federal overreach during the Biden administration. Appointed to the Senate to fill the seat vacated by Marco Rubio, she has continued to champion conservative priorities including border security, law-and-order policies, and support for law enforcement.
Policy Positions
Border Security & Drug Enforcement
A former federal prosecutor focused on narcotics and fraud, she has made border enforcement and drug interdiction central priorities — fighting the opioid epidemic and working to stop the flow of illegal narcotics into American communities.
Law & Order
As Florida Attorney General, led the charge on locking up human traffickers, revolutionizing organized retail theft investigations, and recruiting hundreds of new law enforcement officers — a proven "back the blue" record now carried into the Senate.
Higher Education Accountability
Authored legislation to claw back federal funding from colleges and universities that violate civil rights law, standing firm against institutional overreach and ideological bias on campus.
